Rites of passages have been around forever and range from our first hair cut to scarification in many village tribes in Papua New Guinea. In our western culture, a rite of passage that has evolved over the past 50 years is the opportunity to choose whether an individual will further their education after high school and/or what profession they will choose. This rite of passage can be extremely difficult and will have far reaching ramifications.

The College/20 Something Ministry of First Baptist Church exists to help these adults navigate the waters they find themselves in. It is the our desire to assist them in discovering their own uniqueness and giftedness in the Lord and to assist them to exercise who God has created them to be in fulfilling the great commission to the world.

Through Sunday morning Bible study classes and other ministries, you will discover how God's word applies to your everyday life. You will have the opportunity to share experiences with others who are likewise struggling with many of the same decisions you are.

This is a fairly new ministry of First Baptist Church and we would like to invite you to come, be a part of developing and growing it and helping us reach our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
