Music is an integral part of the worship and celebration experienced in our services weekly at First Baptist Church.  Under the leadership of James Griffin, the members of the Music Ministry are committed to excellence in leadership...leadership in worship, celebration and praise.

Celebration Choir
The Celebration Choir leads us each week in music.  They participate in leading worship each Sunday and are featured in many seasonal events including concerts and seasonal musicals throughout the year.  The Celebration Choir is open to college-age through adults.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 7:00pm

Victory Singers
The Victory Singers are made up of our senior adults who enjoy praising the Lord through music.  They sing at area churches and nursing homes, plus take one or two trips a year.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays at 10:00am

First Voice
First Voice is an auditioned praise team comprised of members of the Celebration Choir.  They lead us in worship on Sunday evenings along with the Praise Band.

Solid Rock Singers Youth Choir
Students in grades 7-12 comprise this group.  Our students sing in the evening worship service once a month.  They also perform an annual Christmas musical revue and a spring musical.
Rehearsals: Sundays at 5:00pm

Children's Choir
Children ages 3 through 6th grade have fun learning about music, memorizing scripture and praising the Lord through singing.  Our children's choirs sing during worship services once in the fall, at Christmas, once in the spring and at the end of the school year.  In addition to this, our Praise Singers (4th-6th grade choir) present a musical in late spring.
Rehearsals: Sundays at 5:00pm

Praise Ringers
The Praise Ringers is our 4th-6th grade handbell choir.  They use this simple, yet unique instrument to offer praise to the Lord.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays at 4:00pm

Music Reading Class
This class is for those children who wish to learn to read music.  This class is to prepare children to be in the Praise Ringers the next year.
Rehearsals: Thursdays at 4:00pm
